About Me
Greetings & Blessings be upon you.
My name is Coleen and it is an honor to have you here.
I have been a caregiver in some form or another my whole life and I believe I was set upon that path to bring me here to you.
My life in caregiving began with helping my brother regain his footing in this world after being in Vietnam and also helping with siblings who contracted polio before the vaccine. I helped care for my aging parents and their struggles with Congestive Heart Failure and spinal stenosis and other related issues.
Following their deaths i received my CNA certification and began my work in long term care. I was immediately drawn to hospice and was often put with those patients. I learned a great deal and especially what an under-served population it was and how important it is to "get your ducks in a row". Thus, began my path to become an "End of Life Doula", emergency chaplain and End of Life Consultant.
